Project Objective
The Ticket Manager Game was born with the objective of training and improving practical skills in IT support ticket management. Through simulated scenarios—such as blocked workstations, network issues, hardware malfunctions, and software configuration requests—the user must:
- Analyze each request.
- Use virtual diagnostic tools.
- Select the most appropriate solution from a list of real options.
The simulated solutions reflect standard IT support practices, such as:
- Restarting network services.
- Resetting user credentials.
- Checking hardware connections.
- Updating or restoring drivers.
- Diagnosing issues using system tools.
Technologies Used
For the development of the application, I chose a modern and performance-oriented technology stack:
- Next.js — A React framework for fast and scalable applications.
- TypeScript — A typed language that improves code robustness.
- Tailwind CSS — A utility-first framework for creating responsive and modern designs.
- Node.js and npm — For managing the development environment and dependencies.
Project Structure
The architecture is designed to be modular and easily extendable, following modern frontend development best practices:

This organization makes it easy to:
- Add new ticket scenarios.
- Modify or improve the user interface.
- Extend the game with new features.
Main Features
- Dynamic ticket generation: Each game is different.
- Realistic IT problem management.
- Virtual diagnostic tools system.
- Dark and modern design, optimized for desktop and mobile.
- Automatic deployment on Vercel for maximum online accessibility.
How to Expand the Simulator
IT Support Simulator was designed to be also a learning base. It is easy to customize:
- Add new problems by modifying
src/data/tickets.ts. - Create new IT solutions in
src/data/solutions.ts. - Configure custom diagnostic tools in
src/data/tools.ts. - Customize the interface working on React components (
src/components/).
Why This Project is Important for My Portfolio
IT Support Simulator is not just a technical exercise, but a practical demonstration of my skills in:
- Advanced frontend design and development.
- Full software project lifecycle management.
- Mastery of modern technologies such as Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Development of dynamic and engaging user experiences.
Moreover, it represents a concrete example of my autonomy in developing complete applications: from ideation to coding and online deployment.
