The goal was to simplify the journey for those who want to grow in the tech industry.by solving these common issues:

• Wasted time searching for certifications scattered across different websites.
• Difficulty understanding which certifications truly add value to your career and skills.
• Lack of a community to share experiences, career advice, study tips, and reliable resources.

CertJourney helps people who study and work in tech to discover, compare, and keep track of certifications in an organized wayhelping them make informed choices.

During development, I decided to integrate:

• Lovable.dev as a low-code/AI-assisted framework to speed up prototyping and UI.
• FirebaseAuthentication to login/signup via:
  • Email/Password
  • OAuth Google, GitHub, LinkedIn
• Firestore Database to manage collections of certifications, reviews and community posts in a secure, scalable way with granular permission rules.
• Node.js + CSV Scripts for mass imports of certifications, optimizing times and avoiding manual entries.
• Custom domain and transactional email management (reset password, confirm account) with the domain @certjourney.tech.

During the development of CertJourney.tech I have consolidated and expanded skills in:
✅ Multi-provider OAuth authentication and secure user management on Firebase.
✅ Structured database on Firestore, with granular read/write security rules (authors, admin, public reading, profile management).
✅ Integrating AI into development workflows, leveraging Lovable and targeted prompt engineering for the orderly generation of certification CSVs.
✅ Advanced DNS and Domain Management, including DKIM and SPF configurations for custom Firebase emails.
✅ UI/UX oriented, designing simple, intuitive and mobile-friendly interfaces to make it easier to find and explore certifications.
✅ Managing a complete ecosystem of user-generated content (reviews, posts, comments) with the possibility of moderation, versioning and future AI moderation integrations.
